The Parke Heritage High School and Middle School music departments held their Spring Concert and Awards program on May 15.
Earning awards for the sixth grade band were Crescendo/Most Improved: Kaiden Crouch; Best Mental Attitude: Kayllea Lancaster; and Most Valuable Musician: Andrew Allen.
Award winners for the MS choir were Crescendo/Most Improved: Porsche Thompson; Best Mental Attitude: Laney Crowder; and Most Valuable Musician: Isabella Bundy.
For the seventh and eighth grade band, Cole McVay was named the Crescendo/Most Improved Award winner and Steven Myers earned the Best Mental Attitude and Most Valuable Musician awards.
High school band members receiving awards were Crescendo/Most Improved: Lorelei Long; Best Mental Attitude: Kali Burgess; Most Valuable Musician: Lucas Hutchens; and John Philip Sousa Award: Jake Johnson.
Receiving awards for the high school choir were Crescendo/Most Improved: Lorelei Long; Best Mental Attitude: Samuel Baldwin; and Most Valuable Musician: Ella Lacy.
