A female recognized by a Plymouth Police Officer was arrested on Tuesday morning at 3:50 on a warrant.
43-year-old Jennifer McPherson of South Bend was observed at the corner of Michigan and Jefferson Streets and the officer knew there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The officer was able to take her into custody without any issue. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a failure to appear warrant and fines. Her cash bond was set at $195.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
