Starting at 7 a.m. on Monday Shelbyville's McKay Road will be closed from the roundabout going east to S. West Street for road reconstruction.
The project is expected to last for two weeks.
Construction phases include:
Phase 1: Workers will pour the south side of McKay Road first.
Phase 2: Workers will pour the north side of the road second.
Phase 3: Crews will pave driveways one half at a time.
Access: Residents can continuously use their driveways during paving
