Deputy Truty of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department made two separate arrests on Saturday, involving drivers operating vehicles without valid licenses — one of whom was also charged with drunk driving.
The first arrest came at approximately 3:31 p.m. when a Marshall County officer conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 31 near State Road 10 for a moving violation. During the investigation, the driver, Deandre Jawon Tyus, 35, was found to be operating the vehicle without ever having obtained a driver's license. Tyus was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license. A cash bond of $100 was set.

Hours later, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Marshall County Dispatch received a citizen report of a possibly impaired driver traveling southbound on Michigan Road from Veterans Parkway. A Marshall County officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation. The driver, Jose Aldofo Rodriguez Gonzalez, 28, was found to be exhibiting signs of alcoholic intoxication. Rodriguez Gonzalez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and faces three charges: operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .15% or more, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated endangering, and operating a motor vehicle without ever having received a driver's license. A cash bond of $2,500 was set.

Both arrests were made by Deputy Truty of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
