The Marshall County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identity of the man whose body was discovered in the Yellow River northeast of Plymouth last month.
Marshall County Coroner Dean Byers announced Monday that DNA testing conducted through the Indiana State Police Laboratory Division identified the deceased as Nicholas D. Creighbaum, 46, of Plymouth. Creighbaum's body was found in the Yellow River on June 26, 2026.
The cause and manner of death remain pending, as laboratory and pathology testing are still ongoing. Creighbaum's family has been notified.
