Angie Birchmeier joins county auditors from across the state at French Lick Resort; Marshall County showcases local products in gift baskets
Marshall County Auditor Angie Birchmeier attended the Indiana County Auditors' Association (ICAA) fall conference, held Oct. 21–23, at French Lick Resort.
Hosted by the Indiana State Board of Accounts in partnership with the ICAA, the conference covered regulatory compliance, public accounting standards, and local tax administration. The event opened Oct. 20 with the Association of Indiana Counties Institute for Excellence, featuring a session on property taxes and deductions.
At the ICAA business meeting, Marshall County showcased local products and recreation through gift baskets distributed to government officials from across Indiana. The baskets were made possible by donations from the Dutch Waffle Company, the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, Swan Lake Resort, and The Hershey Company.
The Marshall County Auditor's Office, as well as the Marshall County Building, is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For questions or concerns, call 574-935-8555.
