It’s not too early to get out those recipe books and try that unique new baked creation to enter in this year’s Bake-A-Rama contest at the Marshall County Fairground on Wednesday, July 17th.
The Marshall County Fair contest is open to any Marshall County residents. Entries will be accepted in the Open Class Building from 9A – 12P with open judging beginning at 12:30P. The categories for this year’s competition include cookies or bars, cakes, pies, quick breads or muffins, and crisps or cobblers. Cash prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category, as well as the overall Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
Safe food preparation guidelines must be observed. The rules and guidelines can be found at the end of the Exhibit Guide available on the Extension’s website. For more information contact Donna Kubacki. There is no cost to enter.
