Patrons of the Lawrence Public Library will now have a new ADA compliant website to use.
Head Librarian and Library Director Diane Brumley reported to the Board of Trustees that work has been completed on the site by the firm Moonlight Computing through the receipt of a technology grant from the state of Illinois in 2024.
The site is now more user-friendly for everyone, including those who have vision or hearing difficulties. It features the various apps and other services offered by the library along with other pertinent information on the facility located at 814 12th Street in downtown Lawrenceville. Those wanting to visit the website can go to lawpubliclibrary.org.
The trustees did also approve the annual tax levy ordinance of .02% for building and maintenance use.
