Units of the Lawrence Allison Fire Protection District were mobilized early Thursday morning to a fire incident in eastern Lawrence County.
They were dispatched just after midnight to a brush and woods blaze on the Illinois side of the Wabash River across from Vincennes.
No report of any appreciable damage or a cause.
Personnel from the Vincennes Township Fire Department responded to the scene in mutual aid.
