A Howard County Sheriff’s Office investigator assigned to assist with the Indiana Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted an investigation related to possession of child pornography.
On September 20, investigators from the Howard County Sheriff’s Office Task Force Unit and a Kokomo Police detective conducted a search warrant at the residence of Charles Chilcott, 72, of Kokomo. During the search, investigators discovered a computer and hard drive containing thousands of images of child pornography from the ages of infants to teenage children.
Chilcott was arrested and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography (Level 5 felony). Chilcott was held at the Howard County Criminal Justice Center.
