A Knox man is facing felony charges after he was accused of sexually abusing a child.
According to reports, the accusations started after the Knox Police Department was dispatched to a home on August 3, in response to a domestic disturbance on South Prettyman St. Once at the scene, officers were told that a child had allegedly been sexually abused at the home.
An investigation was launched and statements and potential evidence related to the abuse allegations were collected a week later, identifying Hunter Cole, 28, of Knox, as being the suspect in the crime.
On August 10, formal charges were filed against Cole. He was arrested August 14 and was booked at the Starke County Justice Center with a $100,000 cash bond. Cole faces two counts of Child Molesting, both Level 1 Felonies.
