The Knox County Indiana Prosecutors Office reports that 35 year old William Cummings has been sentenced to a century in prison.
It's after being convicted of two counts of Child Molestation. The sentencing took place in Knox County Circuit Court by Judge Monica Gilmore. He had been charged in connection with an incident involving a 6 year old female juvenile in July of 2021. After a two day jury trial, Cummings was found guilty. Upon sentencing, he was remanded back into the custody of the Knox County Sheriffs Department for transfer to the Indiana Department of Corrections.
