A week ago, Plymouth’s K-9 Castor assisted in the arrest of a South Bend woman.
At about 8:30 Wednesday night, September 25th a traffic stop was conducted at the Speedway Gas Station. During the investigation, Officer Vinson found that the driver, Amber Seay had a driver's license status of Suspended-Prior.
During the traffic stop, K-9 Castor was deployed around the vehicle for a free air sniff and alerted to the odor of narcotics. A vehicle search was conducted, and a small amount of marijuana was found. Amber Seay of South Bend was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked for driving while suspended with a prior.
