A concerned citizen contacted the Marshall County Dispatch Center at about 3:30 Sunday morning for a man and woman who were screaming at each other out on North Michigan Road.
Deputy Johnson arrived at North Michigan Road north of 4B road at 3:38 and began speaking to a female who was walking southbound on Michigan Road. His police report states that a vehicle was also southbound on the shoulder with a male subject driving.
The driver was identified as Isaiah M. Dunn of 4th Road north of Plymouth. The officer determined that Isaiah had been drinking. He was found to be intoxicated and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Dunn was booked in for operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a class C misdemeanor with a cash bond of $1.500.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
