The first-ever Blueberry Baby Contest, the Berry Cute Baby Contest, takes place on the festival's 60th anniversary, Friday, September 4, during the Marshall County Blueberry Festival at the Young Amphitheatre Stage.
Check-in begins at 4:30 p.m., with the contest starting at 5:30 p.m. The entry fee is $10, due at registration. Registration for the Berry Cute Baby Contest has closed after reaching its maximum capacity of 100 participants.
Following the baby contest, the Blueberry Festival will host the Tiny Miss & Mister Pageant for girls and boys aged 2 to 5, and the Little Miss & Mister Pageant for children ages 5 to 8.
All three events — the Berry Cute Baby Contest, Tiny Miss & Mister, and Little Miss & Mister Blueberry Pageants — take place Friday, September 4, at the Young Amphitheatre Stage during the Marshall County Blueberry Festival.
The registration deadline for the pageants is Friday, August 28. Applications are available on the Marshall County Blueberry Festival website at www.blueberryfestival.org under the pageant section. There is a $10 registration fee.
