Indiana State Senator Mike Bohacek (R-Michiana Shores) recently welcomed several local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages.
- Lacey Hahn, from Knox, is a homeschooled student
- Amelia Jackson, from Walkerton, attends Urey Middle School
- Eva Macey, from Plymouth, attends Plymouth High School
- Samuel Smith, from Walkerton, attends Urey Middle School
- Zuri Staley, from La Porte, attends New Prairie Middle School
Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor, and interacting with their state senator.
"The Senate Page Program is a great opportunity for young Hoosiers to experience the Statehouse," Bohacek said. "I appreciate those who made the trip down to the Statehouse and encourage all students throughout Indiana to take advantage of this great opportunity."
Students in grades 6 through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the legislative session.
The 2026 Senate Page program has now ended. Parents interested in learning more about the program should visit www.IndianaSenateRepublicans.com/Page-Program. Applications for the 2027 program will be available at the end of 2026
