On Saturday at about 10:30 p.m., officers with the Plymouth Police Department received information that a female was at Red D Mart with an outstanding warrant.
Officer Fisher located 27-year-old Brittney Snider, of Highland, Indiana, outside the gas station and determined she had a warrant out of Marshall County for probation violation.
Snider was taken into custody and transported to Plymouth Hospital for Jail clearance because she is pregnant. She was given jail clearance and transported to the County Jail, where she was booked in for the no-bail warrant.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
