Whether you've always wanted to learn face painting or are looking for a fun and creative way to get involved in the community this summer, Heartland Art Center has an opportunity tailor-made for you. The center is hosting a Face Painting Workshop led by a professional artist, open to anyone ages 15 and up — no experience required.
Two sessions are available to fit your schedule. The first takes place on Tuesday, July 14th, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., and the second on Saturday, July 18th, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
The workshop costs $30 for new students and $20 for returning students — but here's the real incentive: the workshop is completely free for anyone who signs up to volunteer as a face painter at the ARTS in the Street Festival on Saturday, July 25th. Festival face painters will also receive $60 for a three-hour shift and a free festival T-shirt.
Spaces for festival volunteers are limited to just 12 spots, so organizers are encouraging interested participants to sign up as soon as possible.
Whether you're looking to pick up a new skill, give back to the community, or earn a little extra cash doing something creative and fun, this workshop checks all the boxes. Contact Heartland Art Center to reserve your spot today.
