Free Grazing Field Day planned for August at Marian University-Plymouth Campus

Farmers, landowners, and agriculture enthusiasts are invited to a free Large Ruminant Grazing Field Day on Monday, August 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Marian University-Plymouth Campus, located at 20097 9B Road in Plymouth.

The event is a collaborative effort by Marshall County Purdue Extension, Marian University-Plymouth, the Conservation Cropping Systems Initiative, and the Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Attendees can look forward to a full day of educational sessions covering Grazing System Basics, Rotational and Adaptive Grazing, Soil Health and Forage Management, and Economics and Real-World Grazing Examples. Following the classroom sessions, there will be a panel discussion and a pasture walk on the campus. Lunch will be provided.
