Drug Free Marshall County will host a community panel discussion on the drug and alcohol epidemic on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at The Back Forty Event Center.
The free event brings together community members and local professionals to discuss the impact of substance use in the county and share resources for those affected. Seven panelists from across the region's recovery, law enforcement, and social services sectors will share their perspectives and field questions.
The Panelists include: Christie Johnson, the Director of the Marshall County Drug and Alcohol Program; Michele Ritchie, the Office Director for the Indiana Department of Child Services; Kenneth (Kenny) Schoff, a Peer Recovery Coach and Community Navigator with Marshall County HOPE; Ryan Kauffman a recovery speaker with more than six years of sobriety; James Marshall, an officer with Kosciusko County NET43; Dave Caswell, a Trooper with the Indiana State Police; and Andy Collins, the former Coordinator/Director at Adult Teen Challenge of Northern Indiana.
Together, the panelists will share resources, raise awareness, and discuss how the community can support a safer, stronger Marshall County.
