Knox County authorities made an arrest related to a car driven into a pond.
About noon on Friday, Knox County deputies were advised of a vehicle that ran off the roadway and into a pond in the area of 1346 South 6th Street Road. The Knox County Dive Team arrived on scene to help recover the vehicle. The Knox County Sheriff's Office says the owner / driver of the vehicle had posted on her Snapchat account that she had driven the car off into the pond when she was driving home the night before.
While deputies were on scene, Hannah Holt, 21, came on scene and admitted to deputies she was driving the vehicle when it ran into the pond. Holt was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail where she was booked in on the charge of leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
