The Parke County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a dog that was shot in the northwestern part of the county.
Deputies responded Sunday evening to the call of a dog being shot on North Towpath Road. The dog’s owners said they heard the gunshots as they were looking for the dog. It was found a short distance away just after the shots.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Parke County Sheriff’s Department.
