The Town of Culver is taking targeted steps toward revitalizing its downtown district, and local officials are asking the community to help shape the vision.

The town has officially partnered with Downtown Strategies to develop a comprehensive Five-Year Action Plan for Downtown Culver. Rather than creating a broad, overwhelming list of every possible idea, the partnership will focus on a "bite-sized" approach. The goal is to identify practical, small-scale strategies that the town should implement to generate an immediate, positive impact.

To ensure the plan reflects the needs and desires of the community, officials are hosting a stakeholder input session and inviting the public to be part of the process. Attendees will have the opportunity to collaboratively share their ideas, goals, concerns, and challenges to help formulate the final action plan.

"Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, discuss, and make a difference," organizers stated, encouraging residents, business owners, and local stakeholders to attend.  The Stakeholder Input Session will be held on Wednesday, April 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Culver-Union Township Public Library (107 N Main St).  Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP online at https://forms.office.com/r/86zrsdXvFq

For community members who want to contribute but are unable to attend the April 1st meeting, the town has provided an alternative way to share feedback. Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the online Downtown Community Survey, available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DowntownCulverIN.
