The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department released additional information on the fatal accident on U.S. 30 at Hawthorn Road Sunday morning.
County officers responded to the two-vehicle accident at 10:11 a.m. and determined that Seth Kuckuck of Fort Wayne was killed then the 2019 Kawasaki ZR9 motorcycle he was driving struck a van driven by a Plymouth woman.
71-year-old Linda Clevenger, of Plymouth, was driving a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country Van north bound on Hawthorn Road. Officers determined that the motorcycle was traveling east on U.S. 30 and Clevenger’s van, stopped at the stop sign, and failed to yield to the motorcycle before traveling north across U.S. 30.
Clevenger was not injured in the accident.
Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by the Marshall County Coroner's Office, the Bourbon Police Department, Plymouth Fire Department & EMS, and Reichert-Knepp Towing Services.
