On Saturday, April 19th, at approximately 9:11 P.M., Marshall County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. 31 in the area of U.S. 6.
The driver, 37-year-old Demetrius D Jones of Greenwood, IN, was found to have been operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license. He also had a warrant for his arrest out of Johnson County. During the investigation, a bag of suspected marijuana was recovered.
Greenwood was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $250 cash bond for possession of marijuana as a B misdemeanor and operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license as a C misdemeanor.
