Deputy Geiger with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a black Ford Escape on Lincoln Highway at about 1:20 Wednesday morning and arrested two individuals.
Aliscia Templeton of North Webster, a passenger in the vehicle, had outstanding warrants for controlled substances out of Kosciusko County.

Another passenger, John B. Wood, 30, of Milford, also had warrants for controlled substances out of Kosciusko County. Wood also gave Officer Geiger a false name and date of birth and received new charges of identity deception and false informing.

Both individuals were taken to the Marshall County Jail for processing. John Wood was given a court date for his charges and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Aliscia Templeton was held until Kosciusko County could pick her up.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
