Marshall County residents facing food insecurity will have access to free assorted food items this Friday, September 18, at a Mobile Food Distribution sponsored by Costco.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Plymouth Park Department swimming pool parking lot, located at 1660 N. Michigan Street. Organizers say the distribution is designed to serve up to 150 households on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
All food items will be offered free of charge and come pre-boxed and pre-bagged for easy pickup. Each household will receive one box or bag.
The distribution will operate as a drive-through. Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles and open their trunks to receive items. For those whose trunks do not open, a designated self-loading area will be available on site.
Event organizers expressed gratitude to Costco for sponsoring the distribution, which aims to support individuals and families in need of food assistance across Marshall County.
