Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) has announced that he will host a Service Academy Night on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, for prospective Service Academy nominees and their families. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Penn High School, located at 56100 Bittersweet Road in Mishawaka.
Service Academy Night allows students and families to learn about the U.S. Service Academies, discuss the application process, and meet with representatives from each of the five academies: the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Attendees should enter Penn High School through Door A. The event is open to students who are interested in pursuing a nomination to one of the U.S. Service Academies, as well as parents and family members who want to learn more about the process.
