TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) - Yesterday it was announced that Indiana State Athletic Director Sherard Clinkscales has resigned. Clinkscales has been the athletic director at ISU since 2016 and has been a part of the hiring for many of the coaches across all sports at the University. According to a press release, Clinkscales is stepping down to pursue other opportunities._x000D_ _x000D_ Following Clinkscales' departure as of December 31, Senior Associate AD Angie Lansing will take over in the interim role. Lansing has been on the ISU athletic department staff for 14 years. Lansing is also a former ISU athlete and a part of the Indiana State Hall of Fame. In 2016, Lansing took over the same role of interim AD before hiring Clinkscales.
