City Police arrest Ohio man on U.S. Marshal Service warrant

After a city police officer observed a traffic infraction, a 31-year-old Ohio man was arrested on a warrant through the U.S. Marshals Service.

Just after 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 6^th, Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department stopped a vehicle at U.S. 30 and Oak Drive. The vehicle was being driven by Jordan LeVert McCorvey of Canal Winchester, OH. He was found to have a warrant through the U.S. Marshals Service.

McCorvey was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail to await extradition.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
