Leaf pickup in the City of Plymouth is underway and will continue until November 17th, or possibly longer if the weather remains favorable. The city does not do a spring leaf pick-up, so fall is your only chance to get rid of the leaves in your yard.
The Street Department has divided Plymouth into five sections, and each day, employees from the Street Department will travel to one of the sections and vacuum up the leaves.
Citizens should rake their leaves to the curb only because the leaf machine does not go down the alleys or into manufactured housing parks. Do not rake leaves into the street because they will plug up the drains.
If you do not get your leaves picked up by the city during the annual fall leaf sweeping, you must bag your leaves and put them at the curb for yard waste pick-up on Mondays and Fridays.
