Christian comedian Brad Stine will be taking the stage at The REES Theatre on Saturday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m.
Stine, who is originally from Bremen, Indiana, has performed locally at Plymouth’s Wesleyan Church.and still has ties to the area.
Newsweek and The New Yorker have described Stine’s style as "conservative," "frantic," and "ADHD," with echoes of Robin Williams, Sam Kinison, Bill Hicks and George Carlin, but unlike these and a lot of other comedians, Stine does not use profanity or sexual humor because of his conservative Christian faith.
His material targets liberals, humanists, political correctness and judgmental Christians. Stine admits that much of his more extreme material is facetious and satirical, using ridiculous scenarios to make a finer point.
This event is sponsored by Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
General admission is $25.00 or $50.00 for balcony seats with a meet and greet prior to the performance.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or at www.reestheatre.com
