Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldroup has added additional charges against a local man arrested this past weekend. 26 year old Raymond Godfrey of Lawrenceville was taken into custody Saturday by Lawrenceville Police and originally charged with 2 counts of Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. Now, two additional counts of Attempted First Degree Murder have been lodged against him. No details regarding those charges were immediately given. Godfrey was already being held in the Lawrence County Jail and will remain incarcerated pending a court hearing.
