Centra Credit Union is proud to announce its recognition with the prestigious Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award at the Indiana Credit Union League Awards held on October 3.
This award celebrates credit unions that demonstrate exceptional commitment to social responsibility
through impactful community service projects. Centra was honored for its Community Involvement Leadership Program, which empowers Team Members to lead projects that create value for local nonprofits. These initiatives have helped numerous nonprofits in their mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of
individuals and families across the communities Centra serves.
“I’m always blown away by the passion and dedication of our Team Members and their willingness to buckle down, get their hands dirty, and give back to our communities in meaningful ways,” Centra Director of Community Involvement Jenni Carr said. “Community involvement is so close to my heart and working for an organization that truly walks that walk inspires us all to always strive for greatness here at Centra. It’s an honor to be recognized
by the League for this award.”
Centra Credit Union remains committed to fostering positive change through community engagement, financial education, and inclusive service. This recognition highlights Centra’s continued efforts to live out its vision of value creation and make a lasting impact.
