Officer Chris Miller with the Plymouth Police Department assisted the Marshall County Probation Department with an offender visit on Wednesday, February 23rd at 3 p.m.

They had received a tip that the man had been living at the Economy Inn and had not registered it as a new address.

Making contact with 63-year-old Donald K Allen of Bremen, they conducted a brief investigation.  Following the investigation, Allen was placed under arrest for a sex offender registration violation and booked in the Marshall County Jail.

Charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed. Harris is presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and is entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
