Fights
• Shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday, police received a report that a man had been banging on a door and screaming profanities at a woman at 884 Vintage Drive. He then reportedly left in a minivan, driving recklessly and doing a burnout in front of the home. The altercation was determined to be verbal in nature, and the man was later warned about his driving.
Suspicious
• At 1:34 p.m. Wednesday, a woman residing on Sweetgum Road reported hearing a loud boom that shook her windows. Police records indicate that it was possibly caused by a train being unloaded in the area.
• At 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report of a suspicious vehicle going in circles around Beacon Credit Union, 430 Rouch Place Drive. Upon contact, it was determined that a juvenile with a learner's permit was being taught to drive by other occupants in the vehicle.
Wreck
• Shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, Timothy Hisey, 55, of Rochester, reported that he had wrecked a vehicle the previous night in the area of county roads 400 North and 800 West. He reportedly lost consciousness, resulting in his vehicle leaving the roadway, taking out part of a fence row and coming to a rest in a field.
Tent found
• Shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday, an officer located an unoccupied tent behind railroad tracks near the 1100 block of Bancroft Avenue.
Medical call
• Shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report that a man lost consciousness at Jonesy's Junction, 906 E. Rochester St., Akron.
