Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Samuel Beckett, 24, 1486 Park Road, Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at home and held on a $2,500 surety or $500 cash bond.

• Alton Moss, 51, 1201 Bancroft Ave., Rochester, was arrested Tuesday on a preliminary charge of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. He was taken into custody by city police at home after allegedly assaulting a woman. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Police Incidents
Property damage
• At 11:46 a.m. Tuesday, a man residing at 457 W. 650 North reported that someone drove through and damaged his yard while picking up equipment.
Animal incidents
• Following an arrest made around 1 p.m. Tuesday at 1486 Park Road, police and animal control were tasked with getting 15 surrendered animals – nine cats and six dogs – to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center.
• At 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that two dogs were loose and killing cats on the east side of Rock Lake. The owner stated they got out through a hole in a fence that he was in the process of fixing.
Threatening
• At 3:16 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to an altercation at Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31, on a report of threats being made with a knife. Police records indicate that both parties were separated, but threatening each other. A warning for public intoxication was subsequently issued.
Suspicious
• At 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a female suspect dropped a drug pipe in the driveway of a home along Park Road. She reportedly picked it up when advised police were going to be called.
Buses passed
• On Tuesday, police documented two stop-arm violations in which persons illegally passed school buses at State Road 14 and Oakhill Drive and East Fourth Street and Erie Avenue.
Sexual assault
• At 8:16 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a woman was possibly sexually assaulted. Suspects were reportedly traveling in a dark colored car with guns.
