The City of Shelbyville Board of Public Works and Safety approved three locations Tuesday morning for a SCUFFY Roadblock fundraising endeavor.
SCUFFY volunteers will be present at three locations in the city collecting donations from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 25.
The three locations are:
- Intersection of N. Harrison St. and Mechanic St. located at the SCUFFY main office.
- Walmart intersection at Progress Parkway
- Intersection of Morris Avenue and Knightstown Road near Blue River Memorial Park
The third location is new this year. SCUFFY volunteers have typically used the intersection of S. Harrison St. and Colescott St. as a roadblock.
The third location now coincides with a busy schedule of events at Blue River Memorial Park on April 25, and is a safer location to operate.
