The 59th Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival officially opens in Plymouth on Friday at noon.
However, the carnival will be open on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and food and craft vendors have the option to be open.
This year’s theme is “Music, the Universal Language.”
The Drone Show is back for another can’t-miss performance on Saturday night. A couple hundred drones will fill the sky with a show specially choreographed for the Blueberry Festival. The field will open at 6 p.m. to set up your blankets and chairs for the performance that starts at 9:15 p.m.
A fan favorite is the fireworks show on Sunday evening sponsored in conjunction with the Hoosier Lottery. The show begins at 9:15, but due to some security concerns, the field will not open until noon, allowing everyone to select the best seat in the house to get their chairs and blankets set up early. This is a change from the previously announced opening.
