Beware of cold temps and wind chill

Exposure to bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills can lead to hypothermia and frostbite.

But it can also worsen existing conditions.

Elizabeth Mysliwiec FNP-BC with Lutheran Health Physicians explains people with existing health concerns can find them further impacted by the extreme cold we have been experiencing.

Mysliwiec also talks about how exposure to the elements can quickly lead to trouble.

Added to the health concerns impacted by severe cold is that it's the height of flu and COVID season.
