American Iron Products to sell Limited Edition 250th Anniversary cast iron skillets at Blueberry Festival

American Iron Products, a division of the Plymouth Foundry at 523 West Harrison Street, will have a vendor booth at this year's Marshall County Blueberry Festival — and they're bringing a special line of cast iron celebrating the United States' 250th anniversary.

The company has created two limited-edition skillets and a USA plaque to mark the milestone. Each piece is cast in American iron, handcrafted in Plymouth by a seasoned team of ironworkers whose legacy of pouring iron stretches back to 1946.

The 250th Liberty Bell skillet pays tribute to the American Liberty Bell, celebrating 250 years of freedom. The iconic Liberty Bell represents the fabric of democracy within the United States. These handmade skillets are cast with American iron in Plymouth and are available in limited supply.

Nothing is more symbolic than the American bald eagle — a beacon of American strength since 1782, representing freedom, independence, and resilience. The 250th Eagle skillet is a pre-seasoned, hand-polished cast iron skillet that is not only a functional cooking tool but also a work of art.

The cast iron skillets sell for $100.

American Iron Products is also offering a limited edition powder-coated plaque, perfect for the American patriot looking to add a piece of American decor to their collection. Made in America from ductile iron, the plaque features a double-layered coating system and comes in a variety of colors. The wall-hanging eagle plaque retails for $40.

American Iron Products will be in the middle of the three tents just north of the commercial tent next to the pool in Centennial Park.

The Plymouth team at American Iron Products collectively has hundreds of years of experience pouring iron. Using a process called green sand molding, along with other proprietary molding processes, the team melts iron to nearly 2,800 degrees before pouring it by hand into the molding process. This yields a highly specialized product unmatched by competitors.
