The Marshall County Neighborhood Center is excited to host its 3rd Annual Quack Out Hunger Rubber Duck Race, taking place on Friday at River Park Square.
This event will occur alongside the Mayor’s Month of Music and PHS Alumni Night and functions as a fundraiser to support the Neighborhood Center’s food pantry. So far this year, the Neighborhood Center has provided food baskets to more than 700 households in Marshall County, totaling about 1,600 individual baskets.
Nearly 1,000 ducks have already been adopted for this year’s race. Those interested in participating may adopt a duck by visiting the Neighborhood Center at 402 West Garro Street on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, or by visiting their tent at the Mayor’s Month of Music beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Ducks are available for $5 each; the Wonky Waddlers set of six for $25; the Quack Pack of 30 for $60; or a Flock of 30 for $100. They invite you to take part in this enjoyable event and support the Neighborhood Center's mission to assist residents of Marshall County. Join the fun in helping to "Quack Out Hunger."
