Public restrooms at the city parks in Shelbyville are now open.
Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department announced Tuesday morning that the public restrooms in the parks and along the walking trails will be open daily at 8 a.m.
The restrooms will be cleaned and closed nightly between 7:30 and 9 p.m.
The parks department’s goal is to keep the public restrooms clean and safe. If you witness vandalism, the parks department encourages you to report it to the department and Shelbyville police.
If there are issues within the restrooms, a QR code will be available to scan to report problems.
