Major Health Partners has received funding through the Health First Indiana Grant to support community education and awareness about kidney disease.
As part of the initiative, MHP will host an outreach event, “Dinner with Dr. Jorge Diego,” on July 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Cholula Mexican Restaurant, 1642 E. State Road 44 in Shelbyville.
The presentation will be in Spanish and tailored to the Hispanic community, focusing on the importance of “Knowing Your Numbers” related to chronic kidney disease.
There is no admission charge for this event or the dinner provided.
