Triton Central High School's Derreck Uhls has been named the Beth Prince State Farm Athlete of the Week.
Uhls helped the TC golf team win the Shelby County Tournament championship on April 28 at Timbergate Golf Course. He shot a career-best round of 39 to earn the medalist honor, finishing three strokes ahead of second place.
The Tigers’ nine-hole score of 172 allowed them to top Morristown (205) and Southwestern (210). Waldron does not have a golf team this year.
