Effingham captured the team title in a six-team boys track meet Monday at Robinson.
The Trojans scored 137 points with host Robinson second with 98, Teutopolis third with 87 and Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville (OPH) fourth with 63. Richland County (Olney) was fifth with 38 and Lawrenceville sixth with 33 points.
The Indians did have two winners-Braydan Morrison won the 800 meters and Blayton Gossett the high jump.
Next action for the Tribe is Wednesday at the Little Illini Conference (LIC) meet also to be at Robinson.
