The season wrapped on Saturday, October 31st for three members of the Lawrenceville-Red Hill co-op cross-county Lady Indians in competition at the 2026 Class 1A Sectional held at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois and hosted by Toledo (Cumberland).
Freshman Addision Thacker finished 29th out of the 146 individual runners in the 3-mile race in a time of 19:18.9. Sophomore Lexi Brooke was 45th in a time of 20:12.0 and senior Laurel Buchanan was 107th in a time of 22:42.5. Those times were however not good enough to advance to the state cross-country finals Saturday November 7th at Detweiller Park in Peoria.
Congratulations to those young ladies on their outstanding seasons.
