Two Shelbyville seniors were named All-Hoosier Heritage Conference in boys basketball.
Caden Claxton and Mar Nicholson were two of 12 selected by the conference.

Claxton (photo) averaged 16.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the Golden Bears this season. He leaves the program as the third all-time leading scorer with 1,318 points.
Nicholson (main photo) surpassed 1,000 career points this past season and averaged 15 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists. His 1,095 career points is eighth best in Shelbyville history.

- Greenfield-Central’s Clay Mullins (15.1 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.6 apg)
- Mt. Vernon’s Luke Ertel (24.5 ppg, 9.9 rpg, 6.6 apg)
- Mt. Vernon’s Max Vise (14.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 2.6 apg)
- New Castle’s Mason Miller (15.6 ppg, 2.5 apg)
- New Palestine’s Will Davison (18.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg)
- New Palestine’s Evan Darrah (13.9 ppg, 2.4 rpg)
- Pendleton Heights’ Cooper Sims (21.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg)
- Yorktown’s Mason Trammell (17.5 ppg, 2.5 apg)
- Yorktown’s Jabin Barnes (10.7 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.8 apg)
Mt. Vernon’s Joe Bradburn was named HHC Coach of the Year. He led the Marauders (28-3) to the conference championship with a 7-0 mark and the Class 4A state championship.
Pendleton Heights (17-6) was conference runner-up at 5-2, finishing ahead of Shelbyville (19-6, 4-3), New Palestine (13-12, 4-3), Yorktown (16-9, 3-4), Delta (16-11, 2-5), Greenfield-Central (12-12, 2-5), and New Castle (10-13, 1-6).
