Shelbyville Tennis Sectional bracket announced

The Shelbyville Tennis Sectional bracket is complete.

Now, will Mother Nature let it start today?

The lone match scheduled for today is Triton Central against Waldron at Shelbyville High School. The Tigers have swept Waldron twice this season.

The winner advances to Wednesday’s semifinal round to face Morristown.

In the other semifinal Wednesday, Shelbyville will host Southwestern. The Golden Bears and Spartans have not played this season.

The sectional champion will be crowned Thursday if the schedule is not altered this week.

The winner of the Shelbyville Sectional will advance to the Center Grove Regional along with sectional champions from Perry Meridian, Connersville and Center Grove.

At the regional, the Shelbyville Sectional champion will open against the Perry Meridian Sectional champion. The Perry Meridian Sectional includes Decatur Central, Roncalli, Southport and Perry Meridian.
