Landon Sanders pitched a complete game striking out six with no walks and helped himself with 2 RBI in leading the Lawrenceville Baseball Indians to a 5-1 win over Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville (OPH) Monday at Unit 20 Ballpark in Lawrenceville. The game was a first round contest in the Class 2A Marshall Regional. The Indians scored 5 runs on 6 hits with 2 errors while OPH was held to 1 run on 2 hits with 4 errors. Jack Patterson added 2 hits and 2 RBI and Nielan Bickers also had 2 hits for the Tribe, who are now 15-12-1. They now advance to the semi-finals Thursday at 5 p.m. against Newton at Marshall.
